Fit For A King drummer and co-founder Jared Easterling quits band

Texas metalcore band Fit For A King have announced the amicable departure of founding drummer Jared Easterling, their last remaining original member. Easterling will now play drums for outlaw country/rock artist Koe Wetzel.

"We are sad to announce Jared will be stepping away from the band to pursue an amazing life opportunity he has been presented with," said FFKA in a statement. "There is no bad blood whatsoever and we are so excited for him and this new chapter of his life! Also, Bobby will be joining us on stage for the first time since 2018 for the rescheduled August Burns Red shows! If you're able to make it, come see us with Jared and Bobby together for one final time. For those wanting more details, here is a message directly from Jared."

pretty bummer overall statement about your band that dude would rather play in an "outlaw country" group lmfaaoo

Playing for Koe is a legitimate paying musical career, not playing for some bottom tier metalcore group.

All the drums on their albums are programmed anyway.

Every drummer here should take note and not waste 10-15 years of their lives being the hardest working yet least paid/recognized member of a shitty metal band

If HOB would stop cancelling shows and making things very inconvenient for everyone, that would be lovely. I'll be missing this tour. And good job selling out my guy 👍🏼

This is what the kids mean by "leveling up". Good for him

LOL are the hardcore dorks shitting on him for joining Koe Wetzel. You kids are so out of touch, its embarrasing.. Koe is a mainstream star on the up and up. His music is everywhere right now. Metalcore is basically a dead genre at this point and playing heavy music as a career pays next to nothing. Good on this guy for jumping from a sinking ship to a gig that will actually provide some legitimate financial stability. His decision was a no-brainer.

Why would you continue for ffak if they are trash, discuss.

Koe is selling 5k+ tickets a night. 45k+ in Merch a night. The dude owns fleets of busses and they roll with a semi just for production gear. This dude has official leveled the f*ck up.
