Welcome To Rockville livestream announced, to include Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Lamb Of God

Official press release:

Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents is excited to announce their first festival livestream ever for the milestone 10th edition of Welcome To Rockville. The event will be livestreamed from November 10-14 on the recently launched DWPresents on Twitch channel (twitch.tv/DWPresents), which has quickly grown in popularity as a community for diehard music fans over the last several months. Music fans from around the world can tune in to watch performances from certain artists, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content. Hosted by That Space Zebra Show's Bobby Schubenski, Terry Beez, Josh Balz and producer Jake Miller, the stream will include scheduled performances from Slipknot, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Mudvayne, Staind, Anthrax, Cypress Hill, Social Distortion and many more bands from the festival lineup. See below for the full schedule.

Welcome To Rockville livestream viewers will also be the first to learn the 2022 Welcome To Rockville headliners, which will be announced each day during the stream. There will be chances to win tickets to next year's Welcome To Rockville (May 19-22, 2022) and other DWP 2022 festivals, as well as Voragos: Destination Lunasea Beach (DWP and Sixthman's private island festival and 5-day rock cruise) which takes place February 16-21, 2022 with Rob Zombie, Mudvayne, Mastodon, Welcome To Rockville 2022 and more. Viewers will also be able to buy Welcome To Rockville 2021 merch during the stream.

Welcome To Rockville is Florida's Biggest Rock Experience and will also mark the grand finale of Danny Wimmer Presents' 2021 festival season, which helped usher in the return of live music. The Twitch party kicks off on Wednesday night live from the Twitch Stage, located in the festival campgrounds, and continues all weekend long. The Twitch Stage will highlight performances by fan favorites who have performed on That Space Zebra Show: Battle For The Big Stage on the DWPresents channel since June.

The DWP Twitch channel launched in June 2021 and garnered an impressive audience of nearly 400,000 fans worldwide during its first week of DWPresents' original programming. Overall, DWPresents has had 4.77 million live views, with 2.85 million unique viewers, 24 million minutes watched and more than 727,000 chat messages.

“Twitch is the leader in live, interactive entertainment, and the DWP/Space Zebra team built a channel from the ground-up that engages the rock community through music, humor, and fandom,” said Brian Rucker, Head of Music Content at Twitch. “We can't wait to see Welcome To Rockville come to life through Twitch.”

“Twitch has provided us with a unique platform to not only have unprecedented daily engagement with our fans but to also discover and interact with the bands of the future,” says Danny Hayes, CEO of Danny Wimmer Presents.  “The new Twitch Stage is going to give us the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing new artists we have found on the platform.”
