Darkthrone premiere first single from new album

Black metal progenitors Darkthrone have shared the first (and only) preview track from their forthcoming album, Eternal Hails, which arrives on June 25 through Peaceville Records. New, nine-minute song "Hate Cloak" can be streamed below. Darkthrone drummer Fenriz comments: "Hate Cloak is certainly the slowest song on the album, there are plenty of 'fast' parts on Ted's songs, middle tempos and slow as well. The whole point of us having long songs is variation in tempos/pace, hence the epicness. For me personally, it is fantastic to get the lyrics synced to the vocals like this. Opened up a new world of appreciation to me, as a matter of FACT (obscure album reference there)."
