Iced Earth's Jon Schaffer arrested for role in Capitol riot

Iced Earth guitarist and founder Jon Schaffer has been arrested for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month. According to a WISH report, the Columbus, Indiana musician turned himself into authorities around 3pm today (January 17). Schaffer apparently faces six charges, including "engaging in an act of physical violence in a Capitol building." After being photographed at the Capitol during the insurrection, Schaffer's photo appeared on lists released by both regional and federal authorities as someone they were looking for.
