Killing Time and Breakdown member Rich McLoughlin dies

Influential NYHC musician Rich McLoughlin has reportedly passed away. A cause of death has yet to be disclosed. Both a guitarist and bassist, McLoughlin was a founding member of Killing Time (via its predecessor Raw Deal) and also played in Breakdown. Madball guitarist Hoya Roc had this to say about McLoughlin: "It's a sad day in the HXC universe... just found out one of the architects of my sound has passed away. Rich was a cool guy and part of my all-time favorite hXC band Raw Deal! Rich, rest in piece and thanks for the music that molded me."
