Portuguese metal band Moonspell have announced the departure of drummer Miguel Gaspar, who has been with the group since their 1992 inception. According to Moonspell, reasons for the split "will remain in between the parties involved."
The group is currently working with drummer Hugo Ribeiro.
In related news, Moonspell will enter the studio this fall with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano to record their new album, tentatively slated for an early 2021 release through Napalm Records.
