Dave Mustaine recording vocals for new Megadeth album

The pandemic hasn't completely shut down work on the forthcoming Megadeth album, as frontman Dave Mustaine spent a portion of yesterday (Wednesday, May 6) tracking vocals for the effort. Recording for the band's sixteenth studio album commenced roughly a year ago but has been sidetracked twice, first by Mustaine's cancer diagnosis, then again by the COVID-19 outbreak. Obstacles notwithstanding, Megadeth shared a photo of Mustaine in his home studio home studio captioned "laying down some vocals today."
