Parkway Drive raise $85,000 for Australia fire relief efforts

Last month, Parkway Drive launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support relief efforts for the wildfires that have ravaged the band's native Australia. The group kicked off the endeavor by personally contributing $50,000 AUD ($35,000 in American dollars) to the campaign, then encouraged fans to dig into their own pockets as well. The "Parkway Drive Bushfire Relief" campaign was deactivated this week, having raised a grand total of $129,544 AUD (just over $85,000 in American dollars). The band said, "thank you immensely for your support and raising these much needed funds with us!"
