Down confirm upcoming 'NOLA' 25th anniversary shows

Down will reconvene in 2020 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Nola. The band has confirmed two shows in Europe thus far, with more performances expected to be announced in the coming months. The band will appear at the Copenhell festival in Denmark (taking place June 17-20) in addition to the Graspop Metal Meeting festival (June 18-21) in Dessel, Belgium. Vocalist Philip Anselmo recently told Metal Nexus the following: "We do have the 25th anniversary of 'NOLA' coming up, and I know that we have been offered some shows. And that's all I know. Pepper's [Keenan] still on tour. Crowbar's always on tour. And Eyehategod, they're on tour for a long time. So, people ask me about it all the time."
