'68, the noise rock/punk duo led by Josh Scogin (The Chariot, ex-Norma Jean), have completed work on their third album and follow-up to 2017's Two Parts Viper.
The new outing was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Mastodon) in Nashville, Tennessee and will likely surface late this year via Good Fight Music.
Scogin had the following to say amid our new interview with him (video below): "We just finished recording with Nick Raskulinecz, he did Foo Fighters and Deftones and many others, and it was awesome. We literally just finished it and now it's kind of in the label's world and what all they do, the mastering and all that stuff... I just say, 'now we let the adults handle it'. It's fun and, what can you say about an album that hasn't been said before?... It's like whatever, we wrote some more songs and I love them. I can't wait to be playing them live... They're some of my favorite songs I've ever written, but again, surely any artist would say that about the newest [album]."
