LOL & SMH this hype band Vein playing their first headlining NYC show @ 200 capacity Saint Vitus Bar on December 22, 2018 then playing their next headlining NYC show @ 250 capacity Brooklyn Bazaar on October 11, 2019. This band blew up yo! If they're so big how come they're not headlining 600 capacity Bowery Ballroom or 800 capacity Gramercy Theater? Why are they playing NYC a little over a month apart? Jersey City is right across the river from NYC so it's the NYC market/NYC enough.
Also spare me "Vein needs two NYC-area shows to fulfil demand when the final ack To School Jam would sell out without them and they could be replaced. A real headliner would politely tell BTSJ "we have to play Brooklyn Bazaar only so it's our exclusive NYC area show and we can get the maximum draw from it."

How ironic that nu-jack poseur basically worship "Chicago Hardcore" band's when the biggest hardcore bands to ever come out of Chicago were Harms Way, Weekend Nachos, Drowning, and No Zodiac. Most Chicago bands didn't do shit aide from releasing a demo or two, with the occasional online ep, and most Chicago bands hardly ever toured with the exception of the above mentionables.
In terms of the metal scene, you've got Oceano, Veil Of Maya, and Born Of Osiris as well.
