Baroness album debuts in Top 50

Gold & Grey, the fifth studio album from Baroness, has debuted at No. 39 on the Billboard 200 chart, tallying roughly 13,000 in first-week sales in the United States. Meanwhile, the record bowed at No. 5 on the Top Album Sales chart, No. 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart, No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 2 on the Vinyl Albums chart. Baroness' previous album, Purple (2015), sold nearly 17,500 copies in its first week, debuting at No. 70 on the Billboard 200. The album also peaked at No. 51 on the Top Album Sales chart and No. 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart. Going back further, the band's 2012 double album, Yellow & Green, debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard 200 and sold 12,000 copies in its first week (technically, 6,000 sets of the two-disc album). For what it's worth, if Gold & Grey had been released as a double album, it would have recorded some 26,000 units in sales ~~and landed in the Top 10~~ (commenter is correct).

Billboard does not recognize the double album thing Soundscan treats it as two but for the billboard chart listings it would still only be the same place it is. big misconception

Like half the album is filler interludes! Was really hoping all of the tracks were true songs! The actual songs are great but the album flows terribly with the filler...

Has anyone actually listened to this thing? And by that I also mean everyone involved in recording, mixing and mastering. It sounds like it's coming out of some shitty laptop speakers, no matter what you play it on. It's like Lars Ulrich handled the mastering or something.
