Zealot RIP (Darkest Hour, Pig Destroyer) set to release debut EP
Newly unveiled band Zealot R.I.P. -- featuring members of Darkest Hour, Pig Destroyer, Battery, and Fairweather -- have revealed plans to release their debut EP in three weeks. The self-titled album was recorded and mixed by guitarist Mike Schleibaum at the Riff Dojo and will arrive digitally and as limited edition 12" vinyl on May 20 through Three One G Records. A new song will be premiered shortly.
In related news, Zealot R.I.P. will play their first show on the same day as their EP release (May 20) at the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C., where a concert and panel discussion is taking place for the U.S. release of Blood.Fire.Death, a book about the history of Swedish metal.
