Slayer to embark on final US tour this fall

According to one Les Claypool, Slayer will embark upon a final U.S. tour that will feature Claypool's band, Primus, as one of the opening acts. The dates (which have yet to be officially revealed) will apparently commence at Madison Square Garden in New York City and conclude at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA. Claypool had this to say amid a recent appearance on Bill Burr's podcast (you can listen below):
"There's another thing too that's kind of a secret but maybe I can tell you now… So it looks like we're confirmed, we're gonna play the last, the very last run supporting Slayer's very last tour, Primus is... It's starting at Madison Square Garden and ending at The Forum, that's the rumor."
Claypool's assertion seems likely given this recent report that Slayer would tour North America one final time in October, November, and December, including a final hometown show in Los Angeles. Stay tuned. [via ThePRP]

In come all the hillbillies complaining they used their entire welfare check to see Slayer last year because "thay sed thiz wuz lats tur!" Hillbillies don't go on welfare, that's for sages. Hillbillies go on unemployment. Which is also for sages.

Also confirmed by Les Claypool, Bane will be joining the tour, announcing that Slayer's final US tour will also be their last tour until they get back together two years from now for their final tour

Pathetic of Slayer to continue without Hanneman in the first place.

Would go to see all the stoked deadbeat dads raising their "tall boiz" high in the air knowing that the very next day they are going to work (sunday) just to avoid being garnished next paycheck.

Ol' Billy booze bag still on the wagon.

natron808 3/23/2019 12:44:02 PM

I saw Slayer play a show in Milwaukee on Halloween, one time. I remember thinking it was crazy those old farts were still around. That was in like 2003. It's 2019. Good riddance. Go home, grandpas.

anonymous 3/24/2019 7:17:04 AM

Their final tour...until their next final tour. Bane will return in 2020/21 since Aaron Bedard's current band Antagonize hasn't (and won't) take off despite being on Triple B Records one of the biggest hardcore record labels around today (which isn't saying much.)
