Call Of The Void announce new album, premiere song

Official press release: Colorado metallic punk and sludge legion Call Of The Void are back. Today they announce their blistering new full-length titled, Buried In Light, along with a premiere of the catchy, black-sludge and mind melting anthem, "Living Ruins." The track is streaming now at Decibel Magazine. "This is a concept record on what drives people to walk away from everything, what drives them to blind servitude, isolation, and suicide in a seemingly 'perfect' world," drummer Gordon Koch explains. "Each song serves as a vignette into the events that push you over the edge and push you away from society as a whole. We are speaking from the heart, from personal experiences, the study of modern apocalypse cults and the people affected by them." Pulling inspiration from personal events that crushed spirits and zooming in on humanity's ability to fall deeply into isolation and blind servitude, Call Of The Void have created thirteen anthems of callous rage, pushing the band to the next level of absolute metallic sludge perfection. Buried In Light is slotted for a May 10th release via Translation Loss Records.
