Tool drummer reveals release month for new album

The saga that is the next Tool album continues. While there has been much misinformation regarding the new Tool album disseminated during the last few years, frontman Maynard James Keenan recently confirmed that recording sessions for the album had indeed been completed. Given that particular development and the glacial pace at which Tool seems to operate, it was expected that the record would arrive late this year. However, according to a casual remark made by Tool drummer Danny Carey at the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show this month, the album could hit streets as soon as April. Specifically, Carey told (captured on video, below) a fan that the album will be out "mid-April," adding, "that's the plan anyway." We'll see what happens.

I have the deets on this lil bitch - I'll try to keep it short 4 u hoes. Let's just say my brother has the very best access to bands in the industry and while we were out havin r caviar truffles n some Dom Perignon the other day he revealed somethin about these washed up thots. "Yo Bronzy, u know, that band Tool?" Me: "Yeah Fronzy I kno of those lil creases y" and he says "CEO of Sony wants to corner the market on gaygetz and name their album *Suckers*, IDGAF." Anyone who trusts a word this band says at this point deserves the disappointment that is coming. Album will be the Chinese Democracy of nu metal
