It certainly appears as though 2019 really will see the release of a new Tool album. After years of writing, demoing, and recording, mixing is finally ready to commence. This morning frontman Maynard James Keenan revealed that final vocals were tracked months ago and that they're set to begin the "long process of mixing."
Further details have yet to be revealed, though a fall release seems likely.
