Zao lineup changes confirmed
As was revealed last month, Ferret Music has confirmed the return of vocalist Dan Weyandt to the Zao lineup following a brief separation. Weyandt rejoined the group at the onset of the writing process for their Ferret debut, which will be recorded in March at Trax East studios in New Jersey. Here's what Weyandt says about his return: "I'm incredibly psyched to be playing with my brothers in Zao again. It's a return to my family, but at the same time, it's totally different in an incredible way." Meanwhile, in case you weren't aware, group co-founder Jesse Smith recently left the group to pursue his other project Gods full-time. Smith has been replaced by Steven Peck. Bassist Sean Koshik has also been added to the lineup. Look for the group's currently untitled album to hit stores later this year.
