Slipknot, Hatebreed, Fall Out Boy members donate to Harms Way

A week ago Harm's Way lost their trailer and all of its contents (roughly $20,000 worth) to theft in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortly thereafter, a GoFundMe campaign was created on their behalf to offset losses. In the interim, nearly $25,000 has been raised, including generous contributions from fans and peers. Among those who've donated $500 or more to the cause are Corey Taylor (of Slipknot, Stone Sour), Joe Trohman (of Fall Out Boy), Jamey Jasta (of Hatebreed), Brian Slagel (Metal Blade Records CEO), and Tre McCarthy (Deathwish Inc. co-owner). Additional monetary assistance came from Joe "LI Joe" Ciaramelli (gamer), Triple B Records, Justin Louden (Closed Casket Activities owner), Jake Zimmerman (booking agent), Kevin Otten (of Knocked Loose), Will Putney (producer), Jesus Piece, Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, ex-Hatebreed), Aaron Edge (ex-Himsa, Harkonen), Shane Merrill (promoter), Judiciary, Davey Muise (of Vanna), Pete Grossmann (engineer), and Randy LeBoeuf (engineer), among many others. Not surprisingly, Harm's Way is extremely grateful for the response:

Why these industry heavy hitters didn't respond when The Browning got robbed in Italy I will never understand

anonymous 10/4/2018 7:58:10 AM

Joe "LI Joe" Ciaramelli (gamer)

fourthgradecocktease 10/4/2018 8:39:23 AM

Damn, lose your shit more often.

anonymous 10/4/2018 9:12:00 AM

TOTAL RETALIATION

anonymous 10/4/2018 10:09:07 AM

this is what occurs when you are a talented band that plays original music and your peers respect you. however, i couldn't help but notice during my warped stop that their drummer missed a little china hit 0:59 into the set. It wasn't a big deal... actually it bothered me more than it should of

anonymous 10/4/2018 10:12:04 AM

Wonder if that dude with the gorilla arms isgonna repay with a blowie whilst wearing a ski mask?

anonymous 10/4/2018 10:18:23 AM

Joe "Hey guys I'm still punk... guys???" Trohman

anonymous 10/4/2018 10:42:16 AM

Insane article

thetowerofrome 10/4/2018 11:14:44 AM

Nice to see something positive like this.

anonymous 10/4/2018 11:22:23 AM

So super rich musicians donated chump change? Cool. It is cool though that they helped out a smaller band, I respect that.

anonymous 10/4/2018 12:04:03 PM

Remember when record labels actually helped the bands on their roster instead of the bands having to beg fans for money?

anonymous 10/4/2018 12:05:03 PM

LOL at somebody thinking this band plays original music.

anonymous 10/4/2018 12:10:13 PM

Why are you pieces of shit making it news that these certain people donated to this band? Isn't it news that they got the money? It's not news when normal people donate to bands that need help? fck off.

anonymous 10/4/2018 12:15:23 PM

I wonder if Harms Way will ever repay Entombed for the riffs and guitar tone they straight ripped from them..

fourthgradecocktease 10/4/2018 12:42:48 PM

"Why are you pieces of shit making it news that these certain people donated to this band? Isn't it news that they got the money? It's not news when normal people donate to bands that need help?" Donated a crisp $20 bill to this cause

SN00PY 10/4/2018 4:51:08 PM

LOL @ james pligge asking for pity and handouts from others. All these idiots donating to this undeserving piece of shit are obviously unaware of the astronomical amount of shit he talks about playing with bands that are poseurs, sellouts, try-hards, or simply-put not in their elitist definition of 'real hxc'.

SN00PY 10/4/2018 4:51:43 PM

Now that they've been put in their place like the real paper tiger losers they are, they resort to playing the humble and act like they are grateful for other musicians who aren't as judgmental as these suckers are. Bend over if you are begging for charity!

SN00PY 10/4/2018 4:53:36 PM

If this mindless buckfaced neanderthal learns anything from this, it's not his debased alpha-male facade that makes the world go round, but rather the good will of people who are nice and naive enough to lend others a helping hand. Park your touring van at a church this coming Sunday and recite the testament! #moshatsundaymass

anonymous 10/4/2018 5:05:53 PM

God I hope I don't regret saying this. But here in Billings a lot of big bands come through. This site makes <5k/yr. Hardly enough to survive on. Do you see where I'm going with this.

anonymous 10/4/2018 5:06:32 PM

For augmented income, I go to shows and sit in my Sentra a lot. Bolt cutters under the passenger seat. Follow the van and trailer to whatever cheap ass motel. I think you can fill in the rest. Don't judge me.

fourthgradecocktease 10/4/2018 7:45:26 PM

^^^^^

bellini 10/4/2018 8:29:08 PM

How about someone stay with the van? Morons.

bellini 10/4/2018 8:29:57 PM

I miss the days when bands didn't beg for money... at least online.

anonymous 10/4/2018 9:25:43 PM

This is all just a PR stunt. Nice job gayssss.

anonymous 10/5/2018 2:11:54 AM

Band gets PR, 25k and fall out boy goof gets hardcore cred

anonymous 10/5/2018 6:05:31 AM

SN00PY13 hours ago If this mindless buckfaced neanderthal learns anything from this, it's not his debased alpha-male facade that makes the world go round ^lol look how raged this beta gets projecting on a dude who just so happens to have made some decent gains in the gym. Little man complex bro? I'm sorry you got picked last for dodgeball

anonymous 10/5/2018 7:51:45 AM

^ look at James making assumptions on other's physical attributes on a random internet board. hey broski, there's physical might and then there's mental. i'll school you on both ;) although it's no strange coincidence your absolute ineptitude allows you to get the shit robbed out of you on every tour your joke of a band hops on lol

anonymous 10/5/2018 9:12:03 AM

Its really cute and kind of surprising that you clowns haven't figured the whole "band gets van/trailer/equipment/merc h stolen" thing yet. Well I will fill you cucks in. They are all inside jobs. Free money and publicity. Talking tens of thousands sometimes. Happens in another state that the band immediately leaves. Police forget about it. Public forgets about it. Easy, easy money. One of the best scams going right now.

anonymous 10/5/2018 10:03:41 AM

@ above comment WHOA I would not doubt that for a moment... when your music no longer sells get a friend to 'rob' your shit and exploit public sympathy to cash in tens of thousands. definitely something I picture this band doing........ makes me loath them A LOT MORE now

anonymous 10/5/2018 10:05:59 AM

not to mention haven't they done this before as well? it isn't the first time they've alleged to be victims of "theft"??!!?!?! something fishy going on here.....

bellini 10/5/2018 9:06:08 PM

Either way music is garbage and the singer is a meathead.

anonymous 10/6/2018 10:14:09 AM

looks like we're dining at Red Lobster tonight, boys

anonymous 10/6/2018 10:45:18 AM

Donald Trump here - Thanks to my booming economy Go Fund Me for this loser band would've never happened

anonymous 10/8/2018 3:50:36 AM

Harm's Way do not deserve this money because they were careless with their equipment. Also why didn't the robbers just take off with the whole van? They don't know how to hotwire one? Why did they pick this particular van and how are they fencing these goods?

anonymous 10/8/2018 3:52:02 AM

Another thing: Why no public listing of EVERYTHING stolen with descriptions and serial numbers to alert music stores and pawn shops?

anonymous 10/8/2018 1:14:31 PM

Received a very valid insider source that this whole thing was indeed an inside job Have fun donating to these Shady ass pricks

anonymous 10/8/2018 2:30:34 PM

Jeffrey Esgro here. These bands should be donating to ME.

anonymous 10/8/2018 8:40:13 PM

Someone call the P.D. or Sherrif's office or whatever and say you have a tip for the trailer that was stolen. I bet no police report exists.

anonymous 10/9/2018 6:23:23 PM

Everyone thinks this guy is like the hulk, but he is like 5'5"

SN00PY 10/10/2018 9:48:46 PM

Why didn't Zach Dear donate to this clown with the legal expenses he has to pay to defend himself against sexual assault allegations
