Syracuse band Ed Gein was apparently the latest victim of the increasingly popular band van theft this past weekend. The group had reportedly stopped at a Wal-Mart in Columbus, OH on Saturday only to find their van and trailer had been stolen upon exiting the store. The group lost all of their musical equipment, all of their personal belongings, and over $2,000 in cash. The police are attempting to figure things out, but in the interim, if you see a big red van with Ed Gein and Engineer stickers on it, call the authorities. Luckily, the group has been receiving help from tourmates Breather Resist and Minor Times. There will reportedly be a benefit show for the band on February 13th at the Westcott Community Center in Syracuse, but you can help immediately by going to their show tonight at the Fulton VFW in New York and donating some money.
