Syracuse, NY grindcore band Ed Gein last surfaced in late 2016, when they released a new 7". Unfortunately, it appears that the record will be the group's last gasp, as Ed Gein has officially been put to rest.
Instead, the trio (Jesse Daino, Aaron Jenkins, and Graham Reynolds) has launched a new band called Shadow Snakes. You can listen to a preview of their new music below.

Press release is basically "we got old." Seems like a solid decision, EG was tight and I'm looking forward to what comes next for these guys.

Their first demo was amazing. Got pretty boring after that, though.
Their albums will always have a place in my fäggot heart.
