Ohio's Twelve Tribes have officially signed with Ferret Music. Additionally, the band has changed their name to Prodigal Zoo. Here's a statement from the band regarding the move:
"We made the decision to change our name based on the experience we've had over the last year writing our new record. We have reached a point as musicians where we feel the need to completely regenerate. We have a vision of what our band and our music is supposed to be. In order to achieve that, we had to tear down, start from scratch, and rebuild."
The group will be entering Trax East studios in January to record a full-length, "The Rebirth of Tragedy," with Eric Rachel (Hatebreed, God Forbid). Expect the effort to hit stores in May 2004. For now, you can download two demo tracks from the record here and here.
