Post CommentIf you're a small band, playing primarily basement shows to like 30 kids per night, sure, playing small towns on tour is cool. If you're relatively known and/or part of a package, playing 500+ cap rooms on tour, it doesn't make sense to go outta your way to play a crap town to 75 kids. You actually lose money doing that. It is what it is...
Back in the late 90s/early 00s bands would often hit up smaller towns on tour as well. ^^^^^ You mean back when Best Buy sold CDs?
