Back To School Jam 2017 drama, new lineup

Back To School Jam 2017 GameChangerWorld As you may recall, Back To School Jam 2017 was announced last month and had been slated to take place on September 9 at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ. However, following drama between agents, promoters, and venues, the event has been moved to GameChangerWorld in Howell and will now feature an entirely different lineup. The new roster can be viewed below. Regarding the change of venues, organizer Greg Falchetto had this to say: "Truth be told a lot of things got messed up through all of this. I liked the idea of having a mixed bill and seeing hardcore bands get to play to a bigger audience but my attempts failed and I wanted to go back to what I am personally comfortable with. I appreciate everyone at Starland Ballroom for how insanely helpful they were however this is what should have happened from the start. For those that purchased tickets already those refunds are being processed and you will need to purchase a new ticket for the event." Meanwhile, GameChangerWorld has posted a lengthly explanation, during which the venue assails agent Brad Wiseman (The Story So Far, State Champs, Emmure, etc.) for "overstepping his boundaries and rights as such." According to GameChangerWorld, "Mr. Wiseman believed it was in his best interest to strong arm Greg Falchetto and Back To School Jam to reflect a line up that included only his artists, a move to Starland Ballroom supported to swing the show away from GameChangerWorld where the event originated and has seen years of success. Brad Wiseman, single handledly forced every credible hardcore and scene act away from this bill, to protect his own personal roster, and those within his companies."
