Max Cavalera to perform entire Nailbomb album on tour

Max Cavalera has revealed that he and his Soulfly bandmates will perform the 1994 Nailbomb album Point Blank in its entirety on a forthcoming tour, the itinerary for which has yet to be disclosed. You can view Cavalera's video announcement below. Unfortunately, Cavalera's Nailbomb partner, Alex Newport, will not be part of the tour. Soulfly had this to say about Newport's absence:
"No Alex Newport, sorry. We really wish he could make it out for this!!!! In the end, Alex is so busy that this is probably the closest we will ever get to playing Nailbomb music. Max is between albums and you can bet Soulfly songs will still be played at the show. This tour is simply for those who enjoy the music of Nailbomb and have been requesting it for years while Max is between albums. If you support Alex over the music, that's totally fine with us; we really do wish he can make it out with us."

"Alex is so busy that" As Alex is snoring in his mom's basement full of empty pizza boxes.

Max is between albums, out trying every angle he can to make as much money as he can as no one cares about his new albums.

dumb*ss old jaded SXE hardcore dudes who also enjoy roadrunner metal are stoked, but will b*tch about ticket prices and spilt beer on their new balances. That's only if they go, which they say they will, but won't because they might get stuck on the late shift at walmart

anonymous5 minutes ago which album of his from the 90s will he play on tour next? this is the second one this year. He knows he'll never be able to replicate success he had (both commercially and artistically) so he might as well cash in on that shitz. You know what I'm sayin?

Must have made some decent change playing "Roots" on that last tour.

i love max and all of his bands but seeing them on the return to roots tour was odd. he barely could play his guitar. he was only plucking one string at a time, never played a single power chord and had 2 fill in bald dudes playing along with igor... i dont know man..

Don't know what this is so I can't back it, although I'm wearing my gravemarker mesh shorts. I'll probably go to check out the up and coming spin kickers in the pushing mosh pit. Deathcare Jon np: I'm using a public bathroom/wifi - Taking a shit

I was told on the Indianapolis date of the Soulfly/CrowbR tour a couple years ago (in a spot that holds no more than 200 I'd say) that Max was literally charging $100 for pics/autographs. What. The. F.uck? Obviously, I knew his glory days were far behind him, but that's when I knew it was all over.

I can remember thinking the cover of this album was too much. Then i got older and thought it was cool. Now I've gotten even older and it's too much, again.

As Alex is snoring in his mom's basement full of empty pizza boxes. More like snoring in his huge mansion.
