Hatebreed's new album cracks Top 25 on Billboard chart
The Concrete Confessional, the new album from Connecticut hardcore/metal band Hatebreed, has debuted at No. 25 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Selling 16,500 copies in its first week of release in the United States, the record also landed at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart. Hatebreed's previous album, The Divinity of Purpose (2013), sold 17,400 copies in its first week, bowing at No. 20 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, the band's 2009 self-titled release debuted at No. 37 on the aforementioned chart with first-week sales of roughly 15,000.
