Deftones, Slayer to play Houston Open Air

The inaugural installment of the Houston Open Air festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25 at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. Promising music, whiskey, craft beer and "gourmet man food," the event will reportedly feature performances from Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, Slayer, Alice In Chains, and Chevelle, among other undisclosed bands. A full lineup announcement is slated for May 16.
