Misfits original lineup to reunite at Riot Fest

For the first time in more than 30 years, the original members of Misfits will reunite. The trio of singer Glenn Danzig, bassist Jerry Only, and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein is scheduled to perform at both Riot Fest Chicago and Riot Fest Denver in September. The aforementioned lineup disbanded in 1983 when Danzig quit the group. The intervening years have seen various legal disputes arise over ownership of the Misfits brand.
