French progressive metal outfit Gojira has formally completed the tracking and mixing process for their follow-up to 2012 album L'Enfant Sauvage. As evidenced by the photo below, mixing was completed this week by guitarist/vocalist Joseph Duplantier and engineer Johann Meyer, and mastering will soon commence. A spring release via Roadrunner Records is expected.

While I respect this band I remain very very concerned for them. They seem to not embrace djent or "djenting" as much as they should... Many bands like periphery teseract and erra really seem to be getting what music is about now adays and that is polyrhythmic and groovy style beats, I hope these guys figure that out sooner than later... Just look what happened to As Blood Runs Black Ray djent Clark

Saw Gojira open for In Flames a few years back. They were fcking phenomenal live.
