Lord Dying stranded in Illinois, seek donations

The touring van of Portland, Oregon band Lord Dying broke down this week, leaving the group in a bad spot. As a result, Lord Dying is accepting donations via GoFundMe. Here's what they had to say:
"So our van broke down in Illinois and we are stuck. We have no money to fix the beast or to make it home by Christmas. We need your guys help, so please donate or spread the word."

Isn't Relapse supposed to bail them out of these situations?

Anyone else remember the days when people in the band actually worked before tour and were responsible with their money, so when shit like this came up, they were prepared? $20,000 is an insane amount of money to get back home. That type of dough is enough to get the entire band a round trip vacation to Japan for a week, with money to burn. Sounds like they want money to come back home and party with, or expect people to buy them a brand new van. Either way, dream the fck on.

sounds like an excuse to milk money from their moron fans to get them a shitty new van so they can play more shows that their elf lookin ass fans won't leave their mom's basement for.
