Maruta stranded in Colorado, to miss remainder of tour

Florida grindcore/death metal outfit Maruta had been on tour when their van broke down yesterday in Colorado. As such, the band is stuck "in the middle of nowhere" and will miss the last few shows of their trek. Here is the official word:
"Our van suffered a mechanical difficulty en route to Denver yesterday, and we are forced to cancel the remainder of our tour dates. We are currently stuck in the middle of nowhere, Colorado as we wait for the replacement part to be shipped over from a junkyard. "Needless to say, this has put a big hole in our wallets as the repair is somewhat costly.. not to mention we had to get a hotel for a few days, and now have a 28 hour drive home to look forward to. "We have put up several tour mech items for sale. Hoodies, ladies tank tops, shirts, as well as cds, and lps. Help us out if you can and pick up some merch. Please feel free to share this post as well!"
