Heavy Chains kicked off The Life & Death Tour

The fallout from the beating and hospitalization of Crosscheck drummer Tom Alderson continues as New Jersey hardcore band Heavy Chains has been removed from the lineup of upcoming "The Life & Death Tour," featuring Bane, Turnstile, and Forced Order, among others. Backtrack, a member of whom booked the tour, has issued the following statement:
"After careful consideration, Heavy Chains will no longer be on the Life & Death Tour 2015. The number one priority for this tour is to provide a fun and safe environment for everyone at our shows, we have no further comment regarding the situation. Replacements will be announced soon."
In what may or may not be a coincidence, Heavy Chains' official Facebook page is currently unavailable.
