Creator-Destructor to reissue Point Of View EP
Official press release: Creator-Destructor Records is incredibly excited to announce the addition of San Jose, CA's Point Of View to their roster. The Bay Area 3-Piece have been around since 2002 and have spent the last twelve years honing an intensely well-crafted blend of melodic punk and ska into a sound that is uniquely their own - Their most recent release, 2013's 'Burner' EP (originally released on Hella Mad Records), showcases Point Of View's impressive ability to combine unconventional and lasting song-structures with extremely memorable vocal melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and tight-knit musicianship that leaves the listener dying for more. Creator-Destructor Owner and Heartsounds Guitarist/Vocalist Ben Murray states, "A friend of mine recommended that I check out Point Of View when I was eager to find more awesome bay area bands, and I was absolutely floored from note one- Needless to say, I quickly got my hands on the 'Burner' EP and didn't stop listening to that fucking thing for months! I am completely honored to be able to work with such a refreshing and inspiring band, and reissue one of the absolute best records that has come out in the last few years- Don't sleep on this one if you're a fan of punk-rock in any shape or form." The Creator-Destructor reissue of 'Burner' has been remixed and remastered by Scott Goodrich at Nu-Tone Studios, features a new layout and packaging, and will be available on 180-gram heavyweight colored vinyl with a digital download included. There are two different and equally insane colored vinyl configurations available preorder by heading to the Creator-Destructor Records online store. The first pressing is limited to 250pcs, so make sure to get yours before they are gone! Check out the track 'Arizona Sun' by clicking here.
