Affiance announces new album, tour dates

Official press release: Affiance is an American Metal Band from Cleveland, OH. Reigning in the powerful midwest attitude, Affiance combines elements that tear from the sleeve of metal legends with powerful guitar riffs and soaring vocals. Since starting their touring career in 2010, the band has completed many North American, European, and UK tours. Most recently, the band wrapped up a full US tour with Killswitch Engage and another with Protest The Hero, as well as their first international headliner in South Africa. They been working diligently all year on their newest release Blackout set to debut September 23, 2014 on Bullet Tooth. Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented, "We are still a relatively small band in a very big metal world and we hope to change that with this album. Blackout is a bit darker than our previous albums, and I think it's time for heavy music with melodies to make its presence known in American metal culture. I am proud to be a part of that." The first single from Blackout (produced by Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio who has recently finished records for August Burns Red and Texas In July) is titled "Limitless" and is streaming now at YouTube.com/BulletTooth. The band is filming a music video for the song "Fire" and will premiere in the coming weeks. Brett Wondrak (Guitar) commented on the new album, "Blackout is another step forward for us. We wrote this album to give our fans everything they expect from us and more. All the catchy guitar licks, crushing breakdowns, shredding solos, and memorable high notes that Dennis is so well known for. These are some of the best songs we've ever written. This has been a great year for metal. "Blackout" will be no exception." The most recent Affiance album "The Campaign" had a successful album cycle! Great support from the WARRIORS (Affiance fans) charted them on Billboard (#7 Heatseekers, #7 Top New Artist, #37 Top Hard Albums, and #53 Top Indie Albums). Affiance have recently wrapped up North American and European tours with Killswitch Engage, Protest The Hero, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire, Darkest Hour, Dance Gavin Dance, Miss May I, The Color Morale, and Stray From The Path. The sooner people realize Bullet Tooth is literally just Trustkill 2.0, the better off everyone will be. Seriously, fck off with these jabroni "bands" and their pathetic excuses for labels.

The band that dropped off the last tour because they didn't feel like they were getting paid enough? The band that constantly complains that they don't get enough recognizition and doesn't have more fans? Unfortunate that this band is relatively talented and has an egotistical driven singer. Maybe this CD won't be the same recycled material as before.

"....I think it's time for heavy music with melodies to make its presence known in American metal culture." What are you even talking about? There have been melodies in metal forever. You're not the first to do it, so stop telling people that you're innovative. It's unfortunate that the down-to-earth members have to be brought down by a narcissistic and egotistical lead vocalist. fck off Dennis.

Band full of douchebags. They should tell the story about the time when they refused to even get out their van in Reno because the club was "shady."

I was falling asleep reading this. Keep stroking your ego Dennis, it's extremely attractive to fans.
