6131 Records signs Lilith

Official press release: We are extremely excited to announce that Phoenix, Arizona's Lilith have joined the 6131 Records family. After hearing their demo, we immediately knew we wanted to work with this incredible band. Their unique sound, self-proclaimed "feminist doom punk," and personal, often poignant lyrics make for music that is so refreshingly honest and scathing it's hard not to pay attention. Lilith will be announcing tour plans in the next week or so, but in preparation we suggest you download their demo, Bloom, for free from their Bandcamp, linked below. And stay tuned for details on their forthcoming 6131 Records debut release. Stream/download "Bloom" Demo EP by Lilith via Bandcamp:

Trendy shit label

anonymous 4/19/2014 8:28:45 AM

This label used to be cool, then they started signing indie and pop punk shit, now this crap.

anonymous 4/19/2014 3:35:49 PM

This stuff is way fcking cool. fck you back minded jerks. This seriously rules. Sounds like harms way and code orange kids had a baby. Sorry it isn't alpha and omega, gays.

anonymous 4/19/2014 3:49:54 PM

fck off gays this shit real.

anonymous 4/19/2014 5:59:57 PM

This is cool and all, but this is not a 6131 band, you can tell they are trying to be Deathwish, but I would listen to this than the other crap on 6131.

anonymous 4/19/2014 7:48:47 PM

I would totally beat women to this.

anonymous 4/19/2014 10:42:07 PM

Saw these guys in California and it was a hell of a live show. Very caring and consistent people and the music was very raw and aggressive. Beating ur wife isn't cool so shut it.

anonymous 4/20/2014 6:20:15 AM

Lambgoat can eat a dick with all these ads. Band is hard.

anonymous 4/21/2014 1:57:34 PM

Heard these guys turned down Jeremy Bolm's label for 6131. What? This band could blow up huge.

anonymous 4/21/2014 1:59:58 PM

Their vocalist sent me their cover of nine inch nails and it might be better than the original song.

anonymous 4/21/2014 2:43:47 PM

They're covering wish right? Can you email it to me at ramennoodles4lunch@gmail.c om? Really really want to hear it. Think this might be the band that bridges hardcore and punk perfectly finally.

anonymous 4/21/2014 2:44:53 PM

This EP is seriously something different but I doubt we'll see something as good for their LP. #imo

anonymous 4/21/2014 2:52:37 PM

This band won't leave my f u c k I n g news feed so I finally decided to check it out and it's actually pretty hard. Vocalist is stupid cute.

anonymous 4/21/2014 4:01:14 PM

this band was good until they sold out.

anonymous 4/21/2014 5:04:27 PM

Good band good label good merch. whateva.

anonymous 4/21/2014 5:32:12 PM

i heard dat da dummer crys when he watches disney movies.

anonymous 4/21/2014 6:17:49 PM

Their drummer was the only one who brought a drum rug to a floor show and he was on tour. The last song they played he knocked his ride over from playing to hard and moved to the hi hat like it was nothing. Alladin gets me too. This dude and this band is backed hard.

anonymous 4/21/2014 7:33:24 PM

Can dig it.

anonymous 4/21/2014 10:00:10 PM

Hype game outlandish. Tracks be sick tho.

anonymous 4/22/2014 12:21:25 PM

The music is hard as fck. But the vocals and LGBT theme are kind of making me say "wut".

anonymous 4/22/2014 5:18:43 PM

really interested to see what comes next. would fck the vocalist hard too.

anonymous 4/23/2014 5:03:41 AM

At least it isn't more try hard bullshit. Way to finally sign something not shit 6131.

anonymous 4/23/2014 1:10:41 PM

^^this guy gets it. Don't know if it's wrong considering the bands lgbt themes but I would be on that vocalist like flies on shit.

anonymous 4/24/2014 12:40:50 PM

where's the NIN cover? Need to hear it ASAP!

anonymous 4/26/2014 2:50:47 AM

Can't say how I heard the nin cover all I can say is it's stupid heavy and makes me hope this style bleeds into their next release.

anonymous 4/27/2014 1:08:19 AM

When are tour plans being announced? Anyone?

anonymous 5/6/2014 11:43:45 AM

Saw them with CTTS. Shit was banging HARD.
