Broken Hope, Oceano, etc. tour cancelled
Earlier this evening Oceano revealed that "The Best In Brutality Tour" featuring Broken Hope, Oceano, Fallujah (originally), and Rivers of Nihil, had "dissolved" due to "unforeseen circumstances." We attempted to get clarification from Oceano's management to no avail, however, a Cleveland venue scheduled to host one of the tour's stops says the trek has been cancelled (see below).
Broken Hope has yet to comment. For their part, Oceano, has lined up a handful of replacement shows: 4/7 Pittsburgh, PA @ Smiling Moose w/ Come The Dawn 4/8 Rochester, NY @ Brew Haus w/ Come The Dawn 4/9 Buffalo, NY @ The Waiting Room w/ Come The Dawn 4/10 Albany, NY @ Bogies w/ Come The Dawn 4/12 Springfield, VA @ Empire 4/15 Allentown, PA @ Crock Rock 4/16 Trenton, NY @ Championship 4/17 Worcester, MA @ New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 4/18 Cleveland, OH @ The Foundry w/ Unearth, Winds Of Plague UPDATE: Broken Hope has issued the following statement:
Show Cancellation: The Best in Brutality tour featuring Oceano & Broken Hope has been canceled. Refunds are available at point of purchase.— Cleveland Agora (@ClevelandAgora) April 3, 2014
The Best In Brutality Tour has come to a premature end. MoJoe's in #JOLIET will be our final tour date. To our friends & fans: please know that Broken Hope did NOT cancel this tour...this was a business decision by the BIB tour organizers who've had to deal with numerous problems. Broken Hope will be back on a proper tour and we will also appear at the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest as promised! Thanks to everyone who attended our concerts!
