Relapse Records has officially signed a one-album deal with Portland, OR crust band Nux Vomica. Formed in 2003, the band's first full-length in more than five years will hit streets via Relapse this spring.
The band released a statement that included, "We are sincerely thankful and appreciative to Relapse for extending us this opportunity and for being patient with us throughout the entire process."
Strangely, not long after, Nux Vomica guitarist Chris commented: "I'm not thankful, because for me personally, the past year or so would've been much better without this. Also not appreciative, because no one is doing us a favor, it's mutually beneficial, otherwise it wouldn't be happening."
Mixed messages aside, the new outing is titled Reeling and it will hit streets on April 1st. In the meantime, you can listen to the LP's first single below:

It's either an inside joke or dude is a total unappreciative douche. Grandpa Simpson says, "A little from column A, a little from column B."
