Official press release:
Tulsa, OK post hardcore up-and-comers Outline In Color have signed with Standby Records. The band's label debut is expected to be released in Summer 2014.
Bassist Michael Skaggs says, "We are really excited to get into the studio again! We've been working on new jams for a while now, and are stoked to share them with the world. We will be recording with Drew Fulk, who has been a fan of us since nearly the beginning. We couldn't be happier to be working with someone that is as excited about the project as we are."
Forming from the remnants of several local bands in 2010, Outline In Color self-released their first EP that same year, a self-titled effort which went on to sell over 7,000 digital copies. With the addition of clean vocalist K.C. Simenson (who left Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA to officially join the band in February of 2011) the band recorded their well-received debut LP, Jury of Wolves.
Outline In Color has shared the stage with Memphis May Fire, Make Me Famous, Motionless In White, The Word Alive, The Color Morale, Stick To Your Guns, A Skylit Drive, For Today and many more both locally and regionally.
