Relapse Contamination Festival info
Metal heavyweights Relapse Records has announced plans for their first ever music festival. The Relapse Contamination Festival will be held on January 18th and 19th, 2003 at the famed Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia. The event will feature over fifteen Relapse Records/Release Entertainment artists, with Neurosis headlining on the 18th, and Dillinger Escape Plan headlining on the 19th. Other bands slated to perform include Mastodon, High On Fire, Burnt By The Sun, Alabama Thunderpussy, Pig Destroyer, Dysrhythmia, and The End. Additional artists will be announced in the near future. The event will also serve as the East Coast screening of Neurosis' "A Sun That Never Sets" DVD, as well as the record release show for "Contaminated 5.0," a double-CD label sampler containing material from all the performing artists and dozens more.
