Knives Out calls it quits

Philadelphia's Knives Out has apparently broken up. Featuring ex-members of American Nightmare and I Hate You, among others, the group originally formed in 2001 and had released an MCD, "Heartburn," on Deathwish Inc. They will also be appearing on the upcoming Philadephia Sounds CD/10", along with The Curse, Paint It Black, and Go! For The Throat, on Chunksaah Records. Drummer Brandon Wallace posted the following statement regarding the matter: "I'm sorry to say that Knives Out has decided to call it a day. There has been some problems within the band that seem at this point that they cannot be fixed. I'm sorry to those who have invested time (and others, money) in this project, but we cannot go on the way we have. I'm excited about future projects and we all appreciate all the support you've given us in the past year. Thank you all."
