Wretched announces new tour, line-up

Official press release: Thrash metal quintet, Wretched, has officially announced a U.S. summer tour in support of the anniversary of their sophomore album, Beyond The Gate (Victory Records), bringing along two industry-veteran replacements to contribute to the band's already superior musicianship; new vocalist, Adam Cody, whose Glass Casket performance was an early inspiration to the band, and new bassist, Andrew Grevey, of Loculus. Dating back to their jam band days in 2005, Wretched have always been celebrated for their old school feel and bringing back metalcore to its purest form. Ecstatic about bringing in new talent to the group, guitarist Steven Funderburk affirms, "We're very thrilled to be playing music with these guys. They are both great musicians, and bring a lot to the table for Wretched." Wretched hits the road June 17th, giving Baltimore headbangers the first taste of the sharp music theory and sophisticated composition that the band has perfected since their beginnings. Prepare yourselves as Wretched swoops in to cause mayhem as the ultimate metal warriors of the summer.
