Book Of Black Earth album set for release

Seattle, WA blackened death metal outfit Book Of Black Earth, will release their new album, "The Cold Testament," on May 24th via Prosthetic Records. The album was tracked with Chris Common (Pelican, The Sword) at the Red Room Studio in Seattle and mixed and mastered by Dan Swano (Bloodbath, Nasum, Opeth) at Unisound in Sweden. Vocalist/guitarist TJ Cowgill commented on the new album: "Thematically, 'The Cold Testament' will be a little looser than 'Horoskopus,' but there is still an underlying current to both the sound of the album and lyrically. This will in my opinion be our strongest, most haunting offering, closing another chapter in the Book of Black Earth." Look for the band to hit the road later this year in support of the new effort.
