Vision Of Disorder set to record new album
Seminal New York hardcore outfit Vision Of Disorder will enter the studio in May to begin tracking their first new album in ten years. Greg Prato of UGO.com recently interviewed bassist Mike Fleischmann and he had the following to say: "We started doing some pre-production this past fall and things went well - but we felt we needed more time to fine-tune the songs, so we went back to writing. We were also looking for a producer that we really clicked with. The current plan is to record the album in May and have it out by mid-summer... Some song titles are 'Hard Times,' 'Annihilator,' and 'Be Up On It.' The songs are what you would expect from V.O.D. - very aggressive and melodic. We really feel that on these new songs we have kind of mixed up all of our past efforts into a blender with a dash of new flavor, and we are excited to see what V.O.D. fans will think of it." Neither an album title nor record label has been finalized thus far. You can read the full interview with Fleischmann here (and thanks to Blabbermouth for bringing this to our attention).
