Rose Funeral bassist quits band

Rose Funeral (Metal Blade Records) bass player Dale Hammond left the Ohio death metal group group last month for undisclosed reasons. Hammond quit the band on April 11th, though we had difficulty obtaining confirmation from the band, who have finally revealed that "Bassist Dale Hammond quit four weeks ago." Meanwhile, Hammond has offered no explanation, stating only that the motivation for his departure was a "long story." Since his departure, Hammond has apparantly sold his bass gear, quit smoking, and moved back to Tennessee.
