Hawthorne Street inks Suicide Note project

Chicago's Hawthorne Street Records have signed Old Devil Moon. ODM features Jason Golday (guitar/vocals) and Jason Gagovski (drums), members of Suicide Note (who recently completed a full-length for Ferret Music). According to the label, the band "focuses on the rock side of things [while] expanding on the more melodic elements of Suicide Note." Essentially, the melodic backing vocalist of Suicide Note now takes on lead vocal duties for Old Devil Moon. The band just finished recording a five-song EP at God City Studios with producer/engineer Kurt Ballou. The EP has been entitled "Midnight and Bright" and will be released via Hawthorne in mid-June.
