British publication, the Guardian, reports that UK hardcore/punk band Gallows has been dropped by Warner Bros. Records after releasing one album together. Naturally, poor sales are blamed (20,000 copies solid in the UK; 50,000 worldwide).
However, the Guardian asserts that Gallows has emerged from the arrangement victorious, making money via a lucrative signing deal and maintaining integrity by releasing an aggressive album.
