Winds Of Plague shoots new video

Winds Of Plague recently completed a video for the track "Approach The Podium." The video was directed by Nic Izzy of Reconstructed Media (Despised Icon, Protest The Hero). Singer Johnny Plague comments: "On our one day off in between the 'Summer Slaughter' tour and the 'Decimation Of The Nation' tour we took a 500 mile detour back up to Toronto, Canada for a grueling 14 hours of filming for our new music video. For this video effort we decided to choose the song 'Approach The Podium.' We chose this song because we feel it best represents the band; it has all the elements that we use to create our songs. The concept of the song is betrayal by someone you hold close when you need them most. The setting used to depict this story is a great commander leading his die hard soldiers into battle. During combat, a traitor among the soldiers commits treason killing the heroic leader and leaving their people without guidance. This is only one chapter in the story of The Great Stone War, but I am glad we were able to bring a section of the story to life with this video.”
