no one is "too cool" to listen to anything after solace. they're just disappointed that ID went from playing mind blowing tech metal to nothing but boring generic breakdowns. this album will be a similar letdown, i'm sure

probably the best news in metal right now....technicality of solace + production of minus the herd = best album of 2010 although it would be nice if gab and xavier were on this
I fcking hope to god that they don't ruin this next album. They fcked up Minus the Herd. Breathing is Irrelevant and Solace definately made this band. Brind that sound back.... And Gabe.

Production on Minus the Herd was great, but it's easily their worst album. I'd like to see them give being a good tech band instead of a weak mosh band a shot again.

Minus was a really weak album, and that weak ass generic singer is awful. Liked the first two albums, but not expecting much out of a new one. 8-string guitars is wierd.
80% of Minus The Herd songs are irrelevant. Demo, Breathing and Solace in particular is some of the illest music I've ever heard. Bring back the old sound!

p.s. i thought Minus The Herd was their crowning achievement thus far. BY FAR. Maybe some of you people need to see those songs live to understand...

I feel very sorry for ID that it has an audience of ADHD patients. MTH was a step in the right direction with songs just as technical but with structure. My personal favorite of the 3.
