Striking Distance & American Nightmare tour

Striking Distance will be entering Monster Island studios with Ken Olden on Thursday, and remain there over the weekend. They will be recording six tracks for a 7"/MCD. Look for the album to be released on Bridge Nine Records in late June or early July. The CD was to originally include the band's first 7", but instead, Reflections Records will be releasing a CD with the 7" and some extra tracks later this Summer. Additionally, the band will also have some live material released on Malfunction Records in 7" format later this year. In other band news, Striking Distance is scheduled to embark on a full U.S. tour with American Nightmare from May 2nd through June 2nd. The dates are still being worked out, but here's what we know: 5/2 Rochester NY @ The Penny Arcade 5/3 Aurora IL @ Rock House 5/7 Iowa City IA @ Gabe's Oasis 5/8 Boulder CO @ Tulagi 5/12 Santa Cruz CA @ Vets Hall 5/13 San Francisco CA @ The Pound 5/15 Ojai CA @ Ojai Valley Womens Club 5/16 Las Vegas NV @ Tremors 5/17 Corona CA @ Showcase Theatre 5/18 San Diego CA @ Che Café 5/24 Birmingham AL @ Boiler Room 5/25 Atlanta GA @ Under the Couch 5/26 Nashville TN @ The Muse
