Nuclear Blast signs Annotations Of An Autopsy
Official press release: Nuclear Blast Records is very proud to announce the signing of the sharpest and biggest death metal band the UK has produced in years: Annotations Of An Autopsy. The band was formed in late-2006 with the purpose of writing aggressive low-end death metal and playing it with passion, aggression and determination to ensure they made their mark on the metal music scene worldwide. Annotations Of An Autopsy mix old and new-school death metal to form their own brand of aggressive death. They unleashed Before the Throne of Infection, one of the most anticipated CDs of 2008. The band also fulfilled the expectations set by the album and destroyed many stages with Job For A Cowboy, Hate Eternal or All Shall Perish and many more. All this caught the attention of Nuclear Blast and we are extremely happy that Annotations Of An Autopsy have joined the Nuclear family. Very soon the band will enter the studios to record what will surely become the highlight of 2009 in extreme death metal! Annotations of an Autopsy will give Hell a new meaning in 2009! Commented the band: "We are extremely excited to be part of the Nuclear Blast family alongside so many of our favourite bands such as Decrepit Birth, Psycroptic, Dimmu Borgir, Suffocation any tons more. We feel with a force like NB now in our corner along with our longtime UK label Siege of Amida records. Nothing can stand in our way, this opens up a whole lot of new doors for us. We will be going into the studio in April to record our follow-up album to 2008's 'Before The Throne Of Infection,' which will be released mid-2009 via Siege of Amida Records in the UK and Nuclear Blast worldwide." www.myspace.com/annotationsofanautopsy
